First Gear has done a nice job at capturing the characteristics and distinctive styling of the 1938 International D-2 Pickup Truck.

These diecast trucks have been intricately replicated in 1/25 scale.
There are several versions of the D-2 Pickup Truck available including: #40-0307 in IH Dark Green with black fenders, #40-0290 in IH Red with black fenders, and #40-0294 in IH Cream with red fenders...to name only a few.
Each of these trucks has several authentic details including: opening doors, a v-shaped split windshield, fat fenders, a single bar front bumper, and a distinctive grille design.
In addition, they have detailed interiors with realistic steering wheels, seats, guage panels, window cranks, and pedals.

The opening doors feature chrome-plated mirrors and door handles.

At the front of the models, the hood is decked out with side louvers and authentic International emblems.
The headlights are torpedo-shaped and are positioned between the fenders and hood sides.
These models have free-rolling wheels with authentic hubcaps and realistic tread on the tires.

They are accessorized with a side-mounted spare tire too.
Another working feature on these models is the opening hinged tailgate with cables.

The rear of the truck has a single bar bumper, realistic taillights, and International graphics on the back of the tailgate.
From bumper to bumper, these models measure 8 inches long, 2.8 inches wide, and 3 inches tall.
First Gear has amazingly brought these models to life with their fine detailing and functionality.

Join us again next week when we explore the features of another exciting model!
