Today I would like
to show you the 1971
Ford Torino Cobra in Light Green.
This excellent model is from
American Muscle, item number
992. It has been cast in
1/18 scale. |
This model is part
of the Elite Editions series. It features careful attention to
detail at a slightly lower price point for the budget-conscious
collector.
It is mostly
diecast with some highly polished electro-plated chrome parts
and a few plastic parts.
|
|
|
The hood opens to
reveal the incredible engine and engine bay. As you can see it
is incredibly detailed and very realistic. |
The doors also
open, offering a better view of the interior. Inside you
will find a detailed dashboard, felt "carpet" flooring,
realistic pedals, gearbox, and door handles.
It even features
full function steering. |
|
|
The seat backs
fold forward so your friends can ride in the back!
Although neither
of these images captured them, the door panels are also quite
detailed. |
It also features
window louvers on the back window.
|
|
|
This model also
has realistic headlights, front grill and a license plate.
|
The trunk opens
and is stiff enough to stay open. Inside you will find a spare
tire, a tire iron and a fun, plaid lining. |
|
|
The back side is
just as detailed as the front. It has the "Torino" license
plate, lights and the cobra badge. There is even a key hole on
the trunk! |
It features the
cobra logo on the side of the car as well.
This is a
beautiful replica, American Muscle really put a lot of care and
detail into it. |
